Very good music.
the intro and chorus kind of remembers me of the old sega saturn games like "nights" or "sonic R" ost.
it's very cool man!
Epicness should be the name of this song! ;)
nice work!
cheers.

ZEROzxCROSS responds:

i'm really pretty surprised at the score... i don't think i've EVER had a piece rated that high after around 200 plays :O

This is very good!
Nice guitar rifs and voice. i like your sound, and specially the epic cowbell! :)
Every song gets better when you use a cowbell, thats what les from primus says. ahaha!
Nice work dude! Very well done.
I'll fav you.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks very much, dude. Super glad you dig. Moar Cowbell!

it's clear that you gave your emotions to this song, and that's how music should be! about expressing feelings, and you've nailed it. As long as you can have this relation with the music that you create you will always nail one of the most important aspects of music.
try to EQ this song better, learn how to manipulate synths and sound and you are on your way to make good music with the special kind of sensitivity that you have.
Hope to hear more from you.
cheers!

w0lv3rine responds:

this song is actually pretty old. closer to when I first got into fruity loops, but I totally agree. I could've equalized it way way better than what it was and I could've chosen a better variety of instruments. but thanks for the criticism, its always appreciated

this is amazing! very well done!
love the vocals, and the guitar, its beautifull!

quadx responds:

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like it

This is good! i think you just have to control the voice cuts better.
sometimes they sound, how i can i say...like they were chopped and that's it...like there's nothing more to do with this vocal samples... i'm just saying that they should be more smouth troughout the mix.
you have here a good idea/ concept.
try to match the vocals better with the instrumental tempo, sometimes it looks like it's out of tempo.
what music program are you using? you can easily match the vocals with the beat if you are using ableton live.
You can find good tutorials explaining how to do it.
if you nail this technic you can make of this a good and interesting mix.
i definitely love this idea.
Pm me when you have this song done, i want to hear it.
cheers!

johndisk0 responds:

Hey! Thank you very much for this response. To be honest, you are the first really constructive critique I have received over all of my songs. I had to cut the song together vocally phrase by phrase. Usually I take the music and mix it into the words, but this time I had to go the other way around to get the timing right. "We built this city" is so fast and syncopated that I couldn't cut it the way I usually do and that was my challenge. I use Goldwave and a Metronome App on my iPod and that's it. Everything else is done by ear. I will look in to Ableton for help with the timing, so thanks for the recommendation! If I get around to revamping it for a more pro-style sound, I will definitely hit you up with a PM. Thanks again! -jD

Good work! very beautifull ambient sound.
You should do more songs of this genre.
cheers.

I don't know what kind of software you used to create this song, but the song is awesome!
Love how the structure is well developed, and the synths that you used.
Live 8 is an awesome tool, i was used to use sony acid pro but since i started using live 8 my music got better.
Live 8 is easier to use, more intuitive.
Cheers!

Mawnz responds:
